I don't know how many of you write your symphonic choir pieces in other languages, but if you do, I have found Microsoft Excel to be a great program for organizing phrases. I am not really fluent in the language so I have typed 100s of latin words and phrases into Exel. I write each word or phrase in Latin, then I write the VOTOX form, then the English translation, and finally I write the amount of syllables all in seperate columns. Then after I write a piece, I can load up Excel and then sort the syllables in ascending order and then from there I can choose the right words to match rhyme scheme and the theme I am aiming for. Hope this helps someone out there.
