I just have to applaud you on Dreaming in Chinese. I'm not even going to vote this month since I'm very biased toward this piece. I don't think I can even listen to anything else. Freaking awesome demo. Has to be the best use of RA or any VI to date. So expressive. Just beautiful man. Brought a tear to my freaking Crounching Tiger/Flying Daggers/Hero loving eyes.

I agree, I've loved that one since the first time I heard it. It's going to be tough to compete against that piece this month. ;)

P.S. I hope the ESPN gig is going well so far!

Hey Azreal, if it's as great as you say...give him the vote! ;)

:D WOW! This was a very pleasant surprise to see here this morning!

I've been working on my new/first job, wich is going great, thanks Liam! :D

Dreaming in Chinese, the sort of interesting thing is i had
absolutely nothing in mind when i sat down and did that one.

It started with an ultra simple Taiko pattern i wrote in 2 seconds.

The sounds in RA were so inspiring, it just took off,, from simply
twiddling around with articulations. Im a huge believer in writing
in the strengths of the library. Using what it does best, and letting
it guide me, essentially.

I never force phrases that cant be pulled off with the natural ability
of the library. I always stay well within the confines. Some people
see that as limiting your composition. I just dont see it that way.
I see it as simply playing it the way it wants to be played.

I sincerly believe, that, is why that piece has an above average
sort of authenticity to it.

Thanks so much for the encouragment!! I do feel like im making progress.

Most of what i've learned has come from you great people here at SOL.
THANK YOU!!!
