So in my little cue above - I understand that the consonants for the Boys are a little high - it does sound like they're spitting on the audience a bit.
But do you have any ideas why the consonants for the SATB choirs in the beginning are so low as to be non-existant? This has been a battle for me from the start trying to figure this out. I've got the consonant sliders all the way up, and I checked the volume parameter in WB on the letters and it's at 127. What I'm trying to get them to sing is "KEE S!a ra Ta le vOr". And while I can almost hear the T, l, and v - I can never hear the K and the S!. This is why all the choirs work I've done thus far has been gibberish syllables, because I can't get anything in a real language to sound right.
The odd thing is that its inconsistant - every once in a long while I'll open up a choir in standalone and I'll get the spitting just like the Boys in the demo above, but after working with it for a bit it eventually just goes away. Could this be something to do with my system or a polyphony issue? I am using a consumer-grade sound card (Audigy 2 ZS), which I'm planning on upgrading soon - but that's about the only difference between my setup and most of the other Sonar users on the forums.
Thanks for the advice!
