Hi everybody,
My name is Matt Baxley and I'm pleased to be here! Most people on the world wide web know me as MooT BooXLé, which is the name that goes on all of my musical projects.
I have been playing music professionally for eight years (since age 16). I have become quite proficient at several instruments, but percussion and keyboard instruments are certainly the ones I'm best at.
Anyway...
I've been involved in producing many things for many different people, and for myself...
Some of my work includes standard pop/rock production, audio engineering for television, electronic music (both in the modern sense and the original sense...I'm a vintage synth aficionado! ), Funk music (some of my favourite music in the world...I have become known for my work on the talkbox), church music, playing keys in a contemporary jazz quartet, freelance studio session work, private music lessons....you name it.
Well, I didn't come on here to 'toot my horn'! I have joined this fine forum because I just bought the EWQL Symphonic Gold XP collection. It's great that there's a place where people can share ideas and creative things with one another in regard to these great products!
I'm completely blown away by the quality of the orchestral sounds...it works in my music!
