Hey guys,

Just a little experiment to see how far Gold could go.

Nice. Sometimes I feel like the sound doesn't fit the style, but on the other hand, maybe that makes it even better, because it seems a mixture of two worlds.

The sound of Gold for "Band" doesnt thrill and/or impress me.

But what does impress me, is your totally Masterful programming,
and your brilliant musicianship.

Congrats on being so musical, and tastefull.:)

Great compo !!! I like jazz :) but ...
I think the brass expression are low ... same for trumpet solo ... I will sound like a trumpet muted (as in movies last james bond soundtrack...)

Thanks for the nice feedback guys!

Toddk your comments were way, way WAY too generous! I am truly humbled.

I have to agree that Gold doesn't sound fabulous in a jazz band setting, but hey, it wasn't meant to! No saxes after all....

Offtopic here: Toddk I've never seen that pick and finger technique on flamenco before. Is that something you came up with on your own? I wouldn't have thought it possible, but it works brilliantly.

Dino

Dino,
Seriously man, you have a brilliantly musical ear mi amigo. Really nice.

And YES! I did develop/invent that technique myself. :)

Took a long time. It sorta happened by accident over the years of
playing so many divergent styles of guitar. I slowly began to develop
the hybrid in an attempt to unify all right hand techniques into one.

It worked! :D

Glad you dig it!! Like you were saying, many people dont even believe i can
do it, until they see actuall video of it. Hence all my videos @ my forum.

Again, Great Jazz lines and feel there man. Highly impressed.
