Midi Question...?

I am running SO Plat on FL Studio 7.0.2

I use my Fantom X6 as a midi controller.

Let's say that I have a violin patch set to midi channel 1 and a Cello patch set to midi channel 2, in Kompakt.

How can I set my setup, so that when I play my controller, it triggers the sounds on midi channel 2-16? Right now it only triggers midi channel 1 or the omni setting. I have checked every inch of the fantom and I havent found any settings for this. Is there something I should be able to change in FL or in SO?

most sequencers allow you to change the input device for every midi channel. If FL works this way you should be able to change the input of channel 1 to "no input" and set the fantom to omni. That would produce channel 2-16 recieving.
