Just a quick hello - I have been surfing the forums as a visitor before purchasing Fab Four and am already amazed by some of the music that's been shared here. Some of you guys are truly amazing composers. I am especially impressed by the symphonic orchestral works that I've heard here - a testament to both the products and the artists using them.
Love the concept of Fab Four and am looking forward to Doug's eventual Volume 2.

I have been playing music for 31 years; classically trained in piano from age 6 and self-taught on guitar in college. Currently a practicing plastic surgeon in south Florida and serious musical hobbyist, who wishes he had been born in 1990 so that he would now be 18 in the era of macbook studios, VSTs and gigalibraries. I might have taken a different career path...

I play mostly bluesy, classic rock style (Stones, Black Crowes, Zep) guitar but am much more capable as a keyboardist. I also compose some hip hop and middle eastern stuff. Looking forward to sharing some tunes and thoughts with the group.

Hi, welcome! lol, looks like I got your wish. I'm 19 and am in music technology at college, but I figured out the sample libraries a bit before tat though.

Well it's nice to see new people here. Welcome.

Hey WoodIsGood, I am in Palm Beach County. I can only post sporadically to forums because of my work schedule. Thanks to the well wishers. Looking forward to contributing more to the discussions.

Hello, Phatdarki,

Welcome to the forum. I wish they had of had personal computer when I was 19, that might have influenced my career path too! :) Instead, we were just getting out of Vietnam and disco had yet to raise it's ugly head. I was in my third year of music school. But I am still thankful for the great toys I now get to play with! Better late than never. And I was jazzed when I bought my Fostex A8. Imagine how I feel with EWQLSO Platinum XP and Symphonic Choirs at my fingertips!
