F mic position

Hi,

I would like an advice, I'm wondering if adding a reverb when we load an instrument with F mics is very useful ? Because there is already a reverb with this mic position and the sound is already beautiful.
I used to get a reverb when I played with silver but now with gold, I'm not sure.

For what it's worth, I don't add reverb. I know of others here who don't either. But it's up to you and the sound you want. It would be hard to find a reverb that sounds *better*, that's for sure. All you'd get is longer. :)

Yeah, I might see by my own, by doing a demo with gold. I think the sound is enough good.
So, I think that I will have less difficulties with the reverb now :D (less than with silver)

I think that's one of the great features of Gold (and of course Platinum to a greater degree). You pull up the instruments and they sound great. You can get directly to composing.

I didn't understand till I installed Gold last night how people in this forum were getting away with no reverb. The release trails pretty much cover all the reverb I need on everything except *maybe* percussion and special effects.
