We can never know what unless you provide as detailed as possible your entire computer specs, lists of software you have installed as well as any background tasks that might be running.

Also, it would help to bring up the Task Manager and look at how much physical memory is being used by your DAW for Elektrik Piano; or how much memory is being taken up by other applications.

Last but not least, check to see that your RAM sticks are working.

Have you enabled the /3GB switch?

I got this message too some weeks ago. But I only changed my virtual memory from 2 to 4Gb and the message disappeared and it all worked a little faster. Dont know if this will help you but maybe its worth a try? (In Xp: Controlpanel/System/Advanced/Performance/Advanced/Virtual Memory, I have a swedish version and just translated)

I have 2Gb physical memory, AMD 1,6 GHz (singelcore) and it was with EWQLSO Gold it happened with.

Cheers

If there is direct from disc expansion, enable it and make it use less ram as more as needed to not get that message anymore. Then it takes less ram but more CPU, i guess. I too couldnt load even only the piano sound in colossus before doing that.
