System Restore On or Off?

I'm currently tweaking my system, after a lot of upgrades. (Hardware + Software).

What's the advice for XP system restore, is it wise to leave it on for the C:\ (OS) Drive, or is it wise to knock it off?

It has made problems in the past easy to rectify with it being on, so if it's best to knock it off, what do other composers do when they want to cure a problem by restoring to a working state?

I'm glad I leave mine turned on. I've used System Restore numerous times. If you haven't, then maybe you don't need it.

Yup, I would leave it as well. It saved my butt couple of times.
