Does anyone know how, in Votox, to get the choir (especially tenors) to sing "Step"? As in "Step we gayly on we go"? All I get is sept.

Hi jstjohn welcome to the forum ,

Could it be you have typed a lower case "t" instead of an upercase "T" ? there is no lower
case t in Votox so it will not sound , this is a mistake I made and it took me hours trying
to get the word right before I realised :o

You can also TRY adding an extra T so the Votox would then be "sTTeP"
or maybe give the T a little more velocity , manually make the T longer by extending
the length bar for the T or a combination of these .

also if you have the melody in your sequencer you can use the WB learn function , select
the 'change speed' mode , click the 'start' button and then play your sequence back ,
this may change the letter lengths to better fit the note lengths .

The way I work with WB now is to keep saving changes I make as .voi files so if I make
a fudge I can quickly go back to a previous version ;)
