A slide ?

Hi,

Is it possible by any way to do a slide between two notes ?
I would like to do this with a violin.
I can simulate this with a pitch but I'm wondering whether there is another method.

I use gold with kompakt and Cubase SE.

Short of getting VSL -it doesnt look like it. Seems to be a non topic. Platinum has a little but they are weak.

Someone on " another forum" has a k2 script for portamento/glide--has a pitch wheel sound only. Maybe there are enough samples used in the pro upgrade method to give it a real effect. Also, ease of use sounds good.
