Hello fellow musicians!
I've been lurking and sporadically posting under a different handle, Curois, for the past 6 months or so. Last week I ordered the Complete Composers Collection and received it this week, and decided to register anew under this name, because that is the name I share all my musical activities as well :) And with CCC in my possession, I hope to engage in this community a bit more actively, because I suspect there's a lot to be learned here!

A little bit about my me and my music: I am a piano player where my education is concerned. I studied classical and jazz piano at the Conservatories of Amsterdam and Utrecht and graduated in 2005. Dispite my musical education being focussed on piano, I feel even more a composer/arranger/songwriter. I have been writing music for almost as long as I've been playing the piano. Coupled with that is my keen interest in technology and especially music-technology. So for the past couple of years I've been dabbling in recording/mixing/producing as well. My musical style is very divers, because I feel the need to know it all :)

Hi Daniël,

Congrats on your rebirth! ;)

I have worked in Rotterdam for a couple of years. It has a great concert hall and a very good conservatory, although it lacks the charm of Utrecht and Amsterdam, of course. It's a shame the entire city was bombed during WWII. :(

Anyway, I believe you are the first to represent your city here. Have a great time!

Thanks! Well, I am one of those people who cliche-esquely calls themself a world-citizen instead of the citizen of a particular city :) I live in Rotterdam and I like it a lot, but Ive lived in Amsterdam for 8 years and liked that a lot too, for wholly different reasons. What I am saying is, as long as it is a large city with cultural potential, I can live there hahaha.
