Hi guys what do you guys think of having a EZ swap drive for samples?

are you refering to the Vantec products?

That's for moving large bits of information from one system to another but I guess you can use it for whatever you want. Your paying a bit more for this 'caddy' drive than others but its got security and looks and build quality going for it.
it doesn't have a IDE to serial ATA convertor built in so its not backwards compatible but your probably not concerned about that anyways.
What drives are you putting into it? Diamond Max?
these caddys are longer than normal so make sure you have room and plan accordingly or you could be smacking it into your MOBO and frakking it up.

Thanks Allan, I was thinking of the Thermaltake MAX4 3.5 it seems to have faster transfer rates than the vantec. I also wanna have a 500gig seagate in their. Not sure if thats possible. I would like to install this in my cosmos 1000 which I hope has enough room without knocking the mobo.
