when I type in workdbuilder, only some letters work

Hi everyone, :confused:
I'm still not up and running properly and would really appreciate some help.
I've got CHoirs set up in cubase sx and can load the 'a rose in born' file and hear the boys singing, so far so good.
But when I either try and edit those words, or start a new wordbuilder with new words, like putting in 'cat' as suggested in the faq - nothing happens - the text window remains empty.
Some letters do work r,y,u,s, f,j,k,z,v,m
w brings up an 'organize workspaces' window
The same letters (and only these letters) work whether I've selected english, phonetics or votox.
Can anybody suggest what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Peter ,

Here is what to do ...........

In the SX 'File' menu got to 'Key commands' and in the 'presets' box (to the right) select
'Clear all' , that will fix the problem for you ;)

The problem is caused by SX stealing certain key strokes before WB can get them .

From the other posts I've read - I guessed you'd know the answer - and I'm really grateful you took the time to reply. Being the SX-wordbuilder guru could become a full time job!
