Greetings,
I'm Christoph from Germany, spending my time studying computer science. At the end of elementary school, I started playing keaboard for about six years. After that, I've had a pause of about eight years before deciding just recently to start playing the piano. I bought a Korg TR-88 (I'm interested in synthesizers too), Cubase and QL Pianos (which, sadly, don't work for me yet :( ).
So much for now. Looking forward to spending a bit of time here every now and again. :)

Welcome, Christoph!
Good luck with your music and getting the QL Pianos going.... you're on the bleeding edge of sample instruments with that one.
Don't be afraid to post your music or questions... people are very helpful here.

Yeah, I already noticed that when browsing through the forums. Very friendly atmosphere. Thanks. :)

Yeah, and my interest is rising every day. I got a real boost today when I got fed up with trying to get QL Pianos to work on my desktop computer and just installed it on my notebook, where it worked. Playing Für Elise on a Bösendorfer makes so much of a difference! If it would just work on my desktop computer now, I'd be happy... The crappy sound card in my notebook doesn't support ASIO, so I have to make do with a latency of 15ms. :/
Nice Korg! :)
Welcome to forum!

Finally got around to reading the forum again. I'm planning to finally record some pieces as soon as I get a new computer next month. Will make a perfect christmas present. ;)
Thanks for the warm welcome. :)
