Hi, Please help me!!

WOuld you please explain to me, how i am supposed to get the 'hold syllables' function to work in the choirs program!

I am using Cubase sx 3.
can u please tell me step by step what i am supposed to do to make a 4 letter word hold over 10 notes???(for example) what am i supposed to do in the word builder and also in the cubase program ??

I have already asked someone at the tech support, however they said to ask cubase tech support, but you guys are pros at the program so please dont redirect me!!!

i would be so grateful if u could just explain this to me.
thank you lots.

Hello Yeunhee and welcome to the forum ,

unforunatly it does not seem to work with SX >>>>

what you need to do instead is to divide the word up to the same amount of parts as the
number of notes that you want to sing the word by repeating vowels.

for example the word "cat " sung in Votox over 6 notes could be KA A A A A AT ;)

Hi !!

THank you so much for answering my question! I was just about to call Cubase and wait for 40 minutes to get through....so if it really doesn't work with Cubase then !!!$%^&*()
I will try what you said.

Thanks again!!

I don't have any knowledge about any bug affecting Hold Syllable in Cubase.

The Hold Syllable must be placed BEFORE the syllable that you need to hold. Could this be the problem?

No the Hold Syllable was placed before the syllable to be held !
