I know we would all be reluctant to risk losing work, but would a "no sync fees, no score" policy among composers for Discovery Channel and APM work (and others that are likely to follow suit), or is this wishful thinking on my part?

Pretty much a red flag about dealing with APM or Discovery Communications if you ask me. They refuse to fairly deal with composers and/or promise pay but fail to deliver said pay. The crack in the foundation of this business is only growing wider and none of us have any kind of rope to pull ourselves out of it with.
