Try this: move the mod weel (volume) with this voice F BASS OH DXF C0-D#0
It sounds very strange in the max volume, isn't it? It plays when I release the key...
Or is it my problem?

Bye
Matt

No answer?
1. Has anyone noticed this problem? Yes? No?
2. Is this Thread in the wrong section?
3. ...
Thanks

Matt

I've downloaded the last Kompakt updater for Symphonic Choirs, but there is the same problem I've written above.

I can't reproduce the problem. Any one else?

I just saw this thread and decided to check out the problem.

If I load the patch into either the Kompakt player, K1.5 or K2 (all latest versions) and set the mod wheel flat out, all I get is the release sample.

:) Thank You for your replay, Nick and Paulie!

Here: http://web.ticino.com/musica/wheel.htm you can hear what SC plays with mod. wheel = 0 and mod. wheel = max.

I play a major scale, with a little rest between the quarter notes.

Do you think, I should reinstall SC?

You are more or less getting the same results as I am. The exception being that with Modulation at max I don't get any note when hitting the key only on the release.

You could try reinstalling, but I am going to investigate it further by loading the instrument into Kontakt and seeing if the samples it uses are available.

Do you get the same results if you press the C0 key first?

Nick,

It would appear that the Group Start Options of the "oh f" group are not setup correctly. They are set to D0 and D#0 and I think they should be C0 and D#0.

I have changed the above in my "F BASS OH DXF C0-D#0" and it now seems to work ok.

That's right, Paulie, the problem is in the C0 Keyswitch. With C#0 it sounds right (legato?), but D0 is not a staccato.

In any case, now I can use the C#0 Keyswitch. :)
Thank You, Paulie.

Did you download my revised patch? I now nothing of Macs can an instrument created on PC be used on a mac?

If you can use it, copy it to the instruments directory and it should be accessable from the Kompakt player.

I've checked my revised patch D0 is definitely staccato for me.

I'm afraid, but SC doesn't recognize your document. I hope the problem will be fixed.
Thank You, Paulie.

Did you copy my new instrument into the same directory as the original patch? If you did and it can't be seen by the Kompakt player it's probably because it's a PC file. You need Nick or someone with the Mac version of Kontakt to fix the instrument.

It's all right: I had to remove the .txt extension in the document info (the extension appears during the download). Your new instrument works OK with Mac, too!

You did the job, Paulie, thank You again.

Matt :)

Hi MacMatt,

Glad that worked for you.

Thanks for bringing the problem to the forum so it could be looked at. I hope everyone else has read this thread and downloaded the fixed instrument.

Paul.
