I don't know how I managed to overlook this thread, :confused: but anyways, thanks for posting the link! Great video! :)

I have to say, that I appreciated the 'Palin Song' more after the second time I listened to it. The 'harmonic meandering' is actually less random than it seems at first. The syncing could have been even more convincing if the creator had saved the staccato effect in the piano part for the little pauses in Palin's monologue. Since the low jazz chords are not in Palin's vocal range, he could have played these chords just legato. That might have worked better...

But why am I even saying this? It's a wonderful clip, not a film score! Hilarious stuff!
By the way, I would love to see her in an in-depth, one hour interview with Larry King. That would give us perfect material for a new East West 'Score-that-Movie' competition. :p
