I wonder what the forthcoming (delayed) version of Melodyne with "direct note access" would make of the chord.

Very interesting article. There were just a couple things that seemed odd in their analysis. The amplitudes of some of the frequencies presumed to be harmonics were as strong as notes presumed to be fundamentals, e.g. C5 and C6. Also, it seems a bit odd that John would be called upon to play just one note on his six-string, that same C5. I guess it does fill out the voicing of the chord more properly though.
