I asked about this a while back, but didn't recieve an answer, so I thought I'd ask again. How does Virtual Memory affect the performance of EWQLSO(I'm using the Silver Edition). I've heard that you should turn it off, but Windows strongly reccomends keeping it on. I use Silver on my laptop, but I also use my laptop as an all-around computer for everything I do, so how would disabling Virtual Memory affect my other applications?

I'll can give you a half decent explaination, based on what ive learned
from just hanging out here for a year.
Im no expert on windows, but;
Im pretty sure that, basically, virtual memory is another way windows provides
physical memory in addition to ram. If you have One Gig of ram or more,
then windows can do without the VM having to run.
I didnt know what virtual memory (aka paging file) was either, until
i wanted to tweak my system for Gold and heavier libs.
I have more than one gb of ram, so i have vm off.
I use other apps like Vegas, CDXtract, Nero, etc etc, and everything
runs just fine.
Give it a shot. You can always just turn it back on. :)

Thanks for the reply Todd, that's basically what I wanted to know. I just wasn't sure if disabling Virtual Memory actually improved performance, or was just a latency thing for people who use MIDI controllers.
