Instrument Version

I think this has been asked and anserwed before but I could not find it...
How do you check which intrument/samples version you have installed for PLAY?
The "Main Menu - > "About" gets you the PLAY version number, but how can you tell which version of the instruments and samples you have installed?

For now, you can't.

But it's safe to install the update anyway. After all, if you have the latest version of the library, it will just replace the updated files with the same version.

Piotr, do you know whether the instrument updates are incremental or whether the latest also contains previous updates? I ask, because my latest update appeared to work ok but I encountered problems with an earlier one. As earlier ones have been removed from the update site, I'm assuming the latest contains all the earlier updates too - but thought it worth checking.

Currently there isn't a way directly in the Play Interface to see that, however if you have at anytime installed an instrument update and just aren't sure which one you've installed you can find this out by doing the following:

-On PC go to your 'Add/Remove Programs' from the control panel. The Instrument updates should be there, and this is where you can see the version number that you've already installed.

-On Mac, go to Mac HD / Library / Receipts, you should see an installer receipt there for any instrument updates you've installed, and you can see their version number there.
