I recently took advantage of the 2 - 1 deal and treated my self to SO GOLD & SD 2. I have already recieved SO GOLD but not SD 2. So I was wondering if any SD 2 users could weigh in and give a little review.

Well telling one guy what he'll like and what he won't is rather difficult. Personally we use it A LOT. I mean A LOOOTTT. That said, if your heart is is in mainly Dance or Rap or Pop you might find use for few patches, (things like some of the 'glitch' effects which ARE quite fun. We snuck some into a sc-fi comedy recently. They worked very well and out of context made people laugh.
But for the film composer and trailer guy - I cant see (or hear!) them being without.

Yea I didn't think I would reach for it that much but Im having a lot of ideas involving SD's floating in my head. And after I heard the demos my ideas went nuts. Plus I get it for free so I can't be mad at that LOL.

Hahah, yeah guys at EW make some cool glitch stuff. I remember when I was performing lot of performances for children (kind of tournee one might say), I used in a funny moment in the performance that has been directed (speech, fooling around :P ) a glitched sound from Colossus when performing live, which sounded kind like... distorted fart. :) Lots of laugh. :)

You'll be the baddest hip hopper in town - at least when it comes to the bass beat. There's a couple of sounds in there that will bring the house down, guaranteed.

I hope that's the case. I just feel like I can really work with these drums and make some crazy music.

I think you'll really like it Plus. I did the same thing as far as the 2 for 1 deal. I really like it and use it a lot as well. I've recently started using it for some sound design.

Yea Im sure I will love it as I do all of East West products. Now if only Fedex can stop playin and deliver my S**T,LOL....
