hey there!

i have some newbie questions about play.dll.
I use Fruityloops 8, and when i open the PLAY, i can choose soundbanks from Goliath or Symphonic Orchestra Gold. But when I choose, lets say, Bagpipes from Goliath, and i wanna change intrument into violins, the midi file play both intruments, bagpipes and violins, but there isnt 2 Goliath windows up. Any way to mute one, or play selected intrument only, and then change instrument all the time without using all instruments at same time? what I mean is load one by one intrument, with the last one plays only.

and an other question, is it safe to move whole Goliath Libary folder to another place without causing any problems? I accidentely installed the Library on my external hard drive.. and it kinda lagg a bit when i open it in FL.

hopes for quick answers :)

thanks in advance

This is because you aren't using the midi tracks right. Each instrument has its own channel, you need to use a MIDI Out in the step sequencer with its port set to the same as Play's input port, then use the channel selector in the MIDI Out to choose the instrument you want to play.

Or, you can use the piano roll directly on Play and change the color group, each color triggers a different instrument.

And reviving old threads FTW!

No problems man. Sticking up for the little guy here. FL, now able to punch its way out of a paper bag. Fruit punch. Get it?

I think it's gone to my head.
