Switching to MAC

I have the original Gold, Silver, RA, Bosendorfer 290 libraries. What do I have to do to make these work on MAC running Logic 8?

Put the installer CDs/DVDs in the DVD reader and install... :)

AFAIK all those products are cross platform.

the original products will not run on an Intel mac as is. (well they will but in Rosseta mode only) You will want to:

A) upgrade to PLAY
or

B) pick up/ purchase or crossgrade Kompakt to Kontakt3.

I have sworn off McDonalds, but once a year I just have to have my McDonald fix:D I know that it is bad for you, but MAN it tastes good!

No Mac or meat since '71 ! Gotta say, though, I got accidentally served a real burger at Chili's once and got three bites into it........ I found myself attacking the burger and didn't know why right away............ but, I'll admit it tasted pretty damn good. Well, got to go make my wheatgrass now....... yum...........

B would be your only but best choice.
RA isn't a PLAY edition yet and the only way to get the PLAY edition of Bosendorfer 290 is to purchase Goliath.

So your "B" option on purchasing a crossgrade of Kontakt 3 would be his best choice so that he can get all the libraries working right away.
Otherwise he'd have to purchase an upgrade to GOLD (Play), purchase Goliath (Play) for Bosendorfer 290 and purchase Kontakt 3 crossgrade for RA.

I'm thinking he should not exclude his choice for PLAY completely as he would then be stuck in the land of obsolescence.

I didn't realize that the Bosendorfer 290 is also in Quantum Leap Pianos as well.
I'm sure bennyhill has alot of info on this, now it's decision time.
