I know that a number of people have problems getting more than two channels of output from KONTAKT 2 v2.0.2 into Pro Tools LE. I must admit I was baffled at first. Here's how you do it:
Launch Pro Tools LE. Create a small test project with 1 MIDI track and a few AUX tracks. Save it. Add KONTAKT 2 to your AUX track. Open the KONTAKT interface. Activate the outputs section using the outputs button on the main control. Use the the Add Channel button to add 6 more output strips for a total of 8. Use the config button at the bottom of each one to assign outputs, i.e., st. 1 = 1 & 2, st. 2 = 3 & 4, st. 3 = 5 & 6 etc. Make sure you have created a total of 8 stereo channels.
Okay, here is the important part. Hit the red Make Default button. You should get an acknowledgment that this configuration is the new default. Kill the KONTAKT 2 interface. Remove KONTAKT from the AUX track. Close Pro Tools.
Open Pro Tools. Reopen that test projects. Add KONTAKT 2 to the AUX track. The AUX track that KONTAKT is on will automatically use st. 1. However, if you check your other AUX tracks you will see, under inputs, the new outputs from KONTAKT. Any time you load KONTAKT, from now on, the default ouputs will be exposed in Pro Tools LE. Of course, you can create any configuration you like and set it as default. I hope this helps.
