'Itineris Spiritus' is a beautiful composition (thanks Thomas!) made with Symphonic Choirs dedicated to our mutual friend Ryan Miglierina, who started Sonic Control (www.soniccontrol.com), and who tragically died in a car accident.

Congratulations, It was worth the wait.
The composition is very good and the sound superb.
One thing to higlight is the perfect combination of Choirs with Platinum in the S mic position.
That makes me take the decission to buy Platinum as soon as I can save enough. The blend is PERFECT.

I agree, the composition is beautiful.

BTW "dedicated" is spelled wrong on the EWQLSC choirs page.

"Itineris Spiritus (T.Bergersen)
Dedicted to Ryan Miglierina"

Just thought you would want to know and I hope I dont offend anyone

extreme,
Just wanted to remark that the fact that Choirs have been recorded in the same place and whith the same technology and engineers that the Orchestral libraries make it allways a perfect blend. Just that for my taste, the PERFECT combination is "Choirs and Platinum". There is no better marriage and there will not be any other in the nearly future.
żDo you Agree?. No need to answer...

Where are you guys getting the information that this is QLSO Platinum? According to VI users, TJ used his own custom orchestra. I too am curious what was used to make this. Are the strings, etc. QLSO or not?

DEAR THOMAS,

THIS IS TRULY AMAZING MUSIC!
TOUCHES AND MOVES MY SOUL!

No words for that! Just TOO beautiful!

I wish you could record that with real orchestra and real choir (if ever, let me know! I'm your fan!). That would even get more depth and dynamics. Although what you do with your virtual orchestra is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! If we would be voting for best demo with virtual orchestra/choir, I would vote for this one! You create a very rich palette in orchestration and most of all dynamics! Unbelievable!

Once again, I'm your fan...

(I still can't believe what I just heard... Let me play it again ;) )

This is one of my favorite compositions I have ever heard using a choir (even if it is samples).

I have always wondered what the words meant. Is there a translation?

Also... the link to download it isn't working on soundsonline site.
I have the earlier mp3, but there's a wav version for downloading and I wanted to know if we can still get that one!

Dear Mister Bergersen
My name is Gian Marco Ettisberger, I am a 17-year old student from Chur, Switzerland, who listened to your Composition "Itineris Spiritus" and was amazed about its beauty. I have been listening to it for hours over hours and still, it touches me in my deepest places. I make music myself, or at least I am trying, and I sing in a big choir. Since I am leaving Chur in a year, it will be my last year in the choir. So, for this very special year (I've been singing in the choir for 6 years) I want us to sing a song that I chose and which expresses such beauty like yours does. So I wanted to ask you, if you would be so kind to let us sing your "Itineris Spiritus" on our annual concert? If you agree, we would need a full musical score, sheet music for every individual voice, and the musical score for strings. I did not hear any other instruments, so this should be it.

First, thank you for this beautiful piece of music, and second, thank you for letting us perform your song.

Gian Marco Ettisberger

P.S: Sorry for any mistakes in my English. I try to not make any, but they happen once in a while.

Hi Gian,

One of my absolute favourites, still, after all these years (2). Stunning, absolutely beautiful, craftmanship... .

I doubt if Thomas still visits this forum (regularly). So I suggest you send a PM to Doug or, maybe even better, Nick, since Thomas is '<...> co-owner of "Two Steps From Hell" LLC. - A <...> company founded with <...> Nick Phoenix in 2006.', according to some sources.

If things will work out according to plan I would love to hear your live performance of this gem.

All the best.
