View Full Version : Thoughts for the future?

SC is great and I'm getting things to sound like proper words now!

Couple of thoughts for future minor enhancements:

1. Would it be possible to maximise WordBuilder when it's being used as a Plug-in (e.g. from Sonar5)? It's so much easier to use when it's full-screen. I realise that I'm fortunate enough to run two screens and not all users will have this option but an option to run maximised would be really useful and much more user-friendly

2. A very small point and one of minor irritation: if you shorten the duration of the last letter of a word to something less than any of those above it (so that the durations above disappear off to the right of the box) then the scroll bar at the bottom disappears and you can't get to any of the longer letters above unless you re-lengthen the bottom letter's duration. You probably shouldn't shorten the last letter first anyway and I realise there will be many things that are more irritating to many users but I found this one irritation (being a fairly basic user!) so I thought I'd mention it.

In the scheme of things the above (certainly number 2) are minor and SC is still great!

And what about having real pronounciation in Latin (e.g. y) instead of American Latin gibberis?.

IMO the future is Windows XP x64, and high end computers with more than 4GBytes RAM.

Already Sonar has a version for this platform. Donīt know if NI is planning a new sampler for the platform. But Iīm sure that when we can load more patches into memory, things will be more easy and the productivity will increase. Itīs question of time.
