hello my name is dan.

im using SO gold complete and i love it. i am familier with it now and how it works.

i have one problem though. see i really like to produce smooth style strings stuff that is emotional but kinda epic too, sotra like the batman begins soundtrack.

my question is, when im playing the strings on my midi keyboard, wether if its a cello, violin, viola, bass it always sounds like it doesnt blend together in the transactions of changing notes. even if im doing a m illion takes and i try to play soo perfecly i still have these issues. it sounds like its popinf to one note to the other instead of smoothly rolling to the next note like you hear in the demos on the sound online site.

id love for anyone to help me with some techniques on fixing this, this is so essential from me and if i can master this or find a way how i will practis and practis untill i can get it, ill be so happy. all i need is for some advice?? or links i can find about SO or anything so i can just get them going smooth. even when i site the strings to play at the same time in my host sequencer it still isnt smooth enough some sound befor another some sound after, and my goodness im ajusting for hours and others i adjust and they never work right, shorly it cant be this hard to get it right.

i understand this stuff takes time but im willinf to do it if i can get any advice.

please give me happiness:)

Legato articulations tend to transition more smoothly... try experimenting with different articulations until you find the one that works for you.

I have also this problem, which I try to solve changing articulations just for few notes in my theme. I Change also the velocity. Sometimes, I superimpose 2 articulations —often a group one with a solo one— doing a mix. I use the technique of the relays which consists to superimpose the half theme final note with the note of the beginning of the other half... Sometimes it works but it's a long job. Good luck !
