I have a question about a loop in Storm Drum.
The loop is called "Clone Army" (thunderous catergory).
I`m interested in a particular instrument that is used in the loop.
It sounds like a Slapped Tom or something.
Kind of a "Slap" sound. You can listen to this sound on
D1,D#1,E1,F1,F#1,G1.

Is this a tom ? Also how was it processed to make it sound like this?
Were the multisamples from Storm Drum used to make this sound ?

Clone Army is one of the very few loop sets in SD that was created entirely from the multisamples in SD. There are alot of sounds layered, but the one you are looking for is probably the rimshots of the Taikos. Load the taikos and play the low g.

Thanks for the reply. Great to get a reply from the person
who created this great library :)

And about the instrument, that was Taiko rimshots too?
I know I heard Taiko rimshots, but other than that I heard a sound like ,
Toms in Zimmers scores.(Zimmerish-Toms?) I think it was playing with
the Taiko rimshots.
And Taiko rimshots are mainly coming from the center, but the instrument
that I`m talking about has a Wide Stereo feel. (So tweaked "Big Action Toms wide" or "Roto Toms Wide" maybe ? )
To be more specific, if you listen to the loop on the ""lowest E"", the sound is still
there. You can hear it clearly. Not the rimshot thats playing on the left.

Anyway, I`ll give it a try first. And even if it isn`t the Taiko rimshots (the sound I`m trying to point out ),
looks like Clone Army uses sounds from SD only, so I`ll give it a try .
Thanks :)

BTW, I`ve tried tweaking all the TOMS(Big Action, etc) in SD with
compresser and EQer but had no success. Maybe I`m not just good at it..

Anymore hints, are very apreciated .

Thanks so much for the reply !

Thanks! :)
I`ll look try it out right away !
I really love that sound. I think you tweaked that
sound because it sounds different from the original (Big Action toms),
but I couldn`t get that sound. I wonder how you tweaked to get that sound.

Thanks alot !! :)
