Can anyone help with 'close'

Hi there,
Having another crack at this...and struggling.
I thought I'd do 'close your eyes'
And I haven't got past close
I can get a good clear 'K', but no clear L
Even starting with the word 'lows' gets me no nearer a good 'l'
Can anyone suggest anything beyond playing with the length of the 'L'?
Any help really appreciated!

I have not tried but I should try to divide the "close" into two notes:
The first note in Votox "Ko" with a very short "o" and the second "loOS".
Then it should be "Ko loOS"
Dont know if it will work, just tell me

I already tried and it Works, (The first note has to be shorter than the second)

Thanks folks - I too tried the K on a separate note - but I then couldn't get the L to come forward enough - when you sing 'l', it can be quite a strong sound - any thoughts?
(And is it ok to use this forum for this?)
