OK, I finally got WB back - thanks to all who helped!

Still have a problem getting consonants to sound. In the letter velocity box, I've tried multiplying by2 (and even 4) so I don't think it's a velocity problem. In the Voice Properties, I've tried the "PC" and "NPC" sliders in various locations with no difference made to the sound I'm hearing.

When I slide the positions of the colored bars (representing the letters) around it doesn't seem to make a difference either. Though when I moved the start of the "off" consonant before the off position I did finally hear a consonant, but it was the last letter of the word and would play before the word actually started.

I have to believe that I'm missing something pretty basic, but I can't figure out what it would be or where else to look for possible solutions?

Any ideas would be welcome.

I've just had similar problems but have not had time to investigate. This is a link to another thread on this forum which may help you (and me!).

You don't happen to be a Sonar user, do you? If so, make sure you are using the S.C VST, not the dxi.

Nope, not a Sonar user, I'm getting the "no consonants" treatment with Logic.

Always, always follow the steps for WordBuilder on the FAQ (http://support.soundsonline.com). Included is a Logic template.

When you can't hear consonants, the most likely culprit is your channel settings in your sequencer. Make sure that the sequencer is sending to Choirs on all channels.
