Just wondering if anyone knows a program that can detect cuts in video like logic studio does?

Are you looking for a video editor, or DAW?

I'm looking for a program that will allow me to do this when working with nuendo 3.2 or Sonar 8. I know logic has this feature built in.

What is the purpose of this feature? Is it supposed to make you able to score to picture when you have no skill?

Lol. It just shows you a graphic representation of where physical cuts are on a picture. Its ok..... Not used very much here....

Not a very useful feature, nor a very accurate feature. You're better off going through and dropping the markers yourself.

The concept sounds like it could be useful for something like a movie trailer, a sound designer could drop in a swoosh or thump sound at each cut.... but I think this is one of those things like "beat detective" in pro tools that just isn't as useful as it's hyped up to be.

I'm not surprised. It sounds like some sort of toy for the professionally challenged...!

In features its pretty useless but maybe if your a sound designer and your doing 15 second bits or something. Nah - just use markers...
