What separates those who make it "big" from those who don't?

In your experience, what are the qualities that separate the people who create a highly successful career in composition (that is rewarding both financially and personally) from those individuals who are also highly talented, but remain forever in obscurity?

I have no idea. that is the way LIFE is. You just have to want it so much you will never give up. Keep hoping and things have a way of working out. It's a marathon. But you have to love films and music ...the whole thing. Otherwise you will give up.
