View Full Version : How to start Word Builder

Hello!

At first i want to say sorry for my bad English (I'm from germany but i didn't find a German Forum for SC). Well, nevermind, my Problem:

I actually have a low sized hard disk so i started to install only the first DVD of Symphonic Orchestra. And it works in the Kompakt Player and also in Cubase (SX) as a VST Plugin with single letters. I also installed the Word Builder Programm. But i dont know how to use it correctly. In the Manual i read, that i have to select word builder as an insert effekt. But it's not listened.
What shall i do?
Do i have to change any settings? how do i say the word builder that it has to cooperate with sc?
The only things i can select in word builder for MIDI IN is "creative sound blaster" (my sound card)
and the only thing i can select for MIDI OUT is "creative sound blaster" and "Microsoft GS Wavetable synths".

Can anybody help me?

Hello Kastenfrosch and welcome ,

I am sorry to say you are not going to get very far with the choirs by just installing only the first disk , you can get a 200 GB SATA drive really cheep now and I strongly recomend you do this .

Wordbuilder loads as an insert MIDI effect not as an insert in the mixer incase that is what you are trying to do .

Just put wordbuilder as an insert for the midi track that has the choir kompakt as it's output
and it will "cooperate with sc" but do not expect alot if you have only installed disk one :eek:

Im having the same problem, and im using Cubase VST32 5.0, how do I put Wordbuilder as an insert MIDI effect? I cant seem to find the "insert slots".

Please help.

me too.... Im running it on a PC and thhe seq is on a mac neither the compact player nor the VStack inputs come up in the midi out list whether I run it as a plugin or standalone. Odd.

Sorry you will not find the inserts because they are not there and are only to be found in SX2 and SX 3 .

But you can still use the stand alone WB ;)
