Hello David,

Thank you very much for taking the time to do this. We are all very honored.

Even though I've been writing music for a living for a few years now, not a day goes by where I don't listen to someone else's work and go "man, I wish I could write like that".

So my question is of a slightly more personal nature. Feel free to not answer it.

Do you, as a top-Hollywood composer, ever feel "inadequate" compared to other composers or do there come a day in one's professional career where you simply start accepting that you're damn good? :)

Thank you again for your time.

All the best,

Thomas Regin.

I am still learning how to compose. But I don't really think about comparing myself to other composers. OF course we are all in competition, but it's not really something I brood about - esp as i get older. It can be a great life, composing movie music, but it can be really tough as well. You take the good with the bad, but if you HAVE to do it, you do it....
