soundcards

i have a question if someone could answer that would be great, i have a cheap tascam u2-122l soundcard, supposadly high quality 24bit blah blah blah, but will my mixes sound better if i run an expensive soundcard ? i would imagine the answer is yes, but as i am not really recording anything and just using samples maybe it might be no,

any advice would be appreciated thanks
