Kung Fu Panda was such a surprising animated score! To me one of the best of 2008. Full of action, epic moments, with amazing melodies and harmonies. I'd like to know more about your collaboration with Hans Zimmer. I've the feeling he wrote the theme we hear in "oogway ascends", and you wrote the rest, the upbeat action moments, the suspense, and the second theme (the very chinese theme) that we hear many times in "sacred pool of tears" in different variations.
My question is about the scoring process with Hans Zimmer in overall : Did you write everything with hans in the same room or did hans write the themes and you arranged/orchestrated them after ?
