Big fan of yours, thanks a lot for taking time out for our questions!

In your woodshedding days, did you do any transcriptions (by ear) for eartraining purposes and learning your craft in general? If yes, did you write it down on manuscript paper and/or try to recreate it with the gear you had at the time?
