Self-promotion?

John, you are definitely an accomplished composer with plenty of notable and significant credits to your name. I was wondering, how much self-promotion do you do to continue getting projects? Many of us, especially those of us early in our careers, spend the vast majority marketing ourselves and trying to land good projects. Do you still have to do this, despite your credits? Or do you get enough work because of your reputation and/or returning clients? Do you just let your agent handle everything?

I try to do as little as possible in promotion - another thing that drives my agent nuts. But I will go out of my way to let a particular filmmaker know that I would love to work with them. Obviously, your preceding work is a big part of how you are perceived.
