Hi John,
Over the past 20 or so years many major scores have increasingly incorporated percussive tracks that implement non conventional sounds or samples. I'm guessing that your library includes a wide range of original percussion samples as well as some of the popular libraries. When creating rhythms, do you pick and choose individual samples to map out onto a midi device for playing into your DAW or do you use another program for this altogether? Any step recording? Favorite effects plugins? And, if you are permitted to say, are there any percussive libraries that you rely on regularly? Thanks so much. -E
