I found this small sample of a song and would like to find the original version. I don't know the name of the song or where is it from. If somebody recognizes the song I would appreciate if you could tell me where it is from or the name of it.

Sounds like it's from an 80s film soundtrack? The original Battlestar Galactica, or Buck Rogers, or something like that. I'm afraid that's all I know about it...

I listened some samples from Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers and it could be from Battlestar Galactica. I only listened the 30 sec ones in the amazon.com. I have to check it better when I have time. Thanks anyway!

Where exactly?

I was playing this game called Day of Defeat and at one server they were using it as a starting song. I tried to ask what it was but nobody answered. Hopefully somebody here knows where it's from. :D

It might be the original music for the game: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day_of_Defeat

Apparently (per wikipedia) the music was composed by the voice actor Michael Shapiro (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0788587/) though to be honest, I kind of doubt that, there may be a mixup - there are nearly a dozen Michael Shapiro's.

I know the music of the game and it's sample based and actually quite cheesy one. ;)
So, I'm sure that it's not from the original soundtrack. I'm pretty sure that somebody just downloaded it to his server and uses it as a startup music. It's only on that one server.

Well have you contacted the guy who runs that server? If it's at all like "Combat Arms," then there will at least be a messaging system.
