Hey everyone just got the main page of my website done and I'd like to hear some feedback. Please let me know what you think.

Well there's not much to critique since it says "COMING SOON" but it's a good start I guess.

How come it's written "CopyRight" instead of "Copyright". Not a huge deal but it threw me off a bit. It just looks wierd to me.

Considering I was the admin of CGEmpire for more than a few years, I'd say that the name caught me off guard! But no matter, CGEmpire is closed and I don't care. Just thought I'd mention it.

Your main page is HUGE! Same people still use smaller screens in their Internet browsing. No need to have it setup for a 22" screen or so... ;) Other than that quite slow to load for just a logo and a 'coming soon'.

The rising of "coming soon" is visually nonsensical - objects and their reflection on a surface don't move upwards in straight parallel motion. Maybe a slow fade in would look better.
Also, the music doesn't quite fit the visual mood.
What is Music For (capital f?) Motion Picture Advertising? You mean you do trailer music? Then use the term your potential clients use: trailer.
And I didn't like the fonts.
Other than that, it's perfect.

Looks nice, but when I click on the 'coming soon' nothing happens - is it up yet?

Looks very nice. ;)

Ditto about the for; should be lower case. However, I don't know of any company in the industry that says they make "trailer music". Mostly it is "Music for Motion Picture Advertising" (and even that is limiting; sometimes various media is included such as television and video game advertising). Check out any production music company's website, and you'll see what I mean. A quick example.... (see the title at the top of the browser) http://www.brandxmusic.net, http://www.twostepsfromhell.com (http://www.twostepsfromhell.com/index-home.php), http://www.audiomachine.com (http://www.audiomachine.com/) (upper right corner) etc...

Hey guys,

Thanks you so much for all of your reply. I will make sure to downsize the page also I like the idea of the fade in of the "COMING SOON" ;) you're right about the surface reflection hehe.

About the Music for Motion Picture Advertising well like MichaelJM said its standard and in some cases is just Music for Media.

I'll also switch that R on copyright hehehe it does looks funky haha.

What did you all think about the song, should I do something different?

Thanks!

I personally think you should remove it or at least give people the option to turn it off. Nothing (and I really mean nothing) is a bigger annoyance than unrequested music on a website.

Pretty nice music though!

The website.. Eh.. Hmm.. Get rid of the intro-tune. The site took more than 10 seconds to load and under normal circumstances I would have been long gone. Sorry!

Thomas.

Um... your flash movie is aligned to the top and your background is aligned to the bottom?

This creates a very strange effect when looking at it in a shrunken window.

Looks great, but I would have rather not spent 20 seconds of my life waiting on "coming soon," no matter how beautiful the letters ...
