I see that Michael Nyman is producing an album in collaboration with my pal David MacAlmont.

What'll that be like, I wonder? Anthony Hegarty sings John Adams?

Maybe a new genre is in the making, minimalist diva soul, perhaps.

Can you folks dream up some other unlikely bedfellows?

Well, there's the unlikely collaboration of UK rocker Robert Plant and bluessgrass star Allison Krauss (http://www.robertplantalisonkrauss.com/site.php). Great album, and 5 Grammys. That's no peanuts by any measure!
