I could perhaps ask this question on another certain website-forum, but you know...all the best people are here.

Is it possible to insert TEXT on timeline in Cubase SX3? I am working on some ques, and suddenly I wondered if Cubase have any function that can place ideas in TEXT-FORM while watching the movie-cues?

If you dont undersand what I mean, I dont blame you.

The only text options in Cubase I know of is the Notepad which is global, not instertable on the timeline. There are also independent notepads for each track (on the track parameter panel).

You could create a track (audio or midi) and rename individual blocks (in the info line). But that all seems a bit backwards.

I still don't understand why you can't rename or add pop-up informantion to markers...

Markers can be used or the information text can be added to each track. Also you can float the markers window if it's easier too see. If you use two monitors, you can drag into the mixer screen and refer to it that way.

Exactly what I was thinking: go markers.
I guess they are what you are looking for.
