EWQLSO Gold Legato Slide Keyswitch

Hello,

Could anyone tell me how the legato slide keyswitch works (I'm trying out the Solo Oboe Keyswitch C0-G0)?

I've tried a bunch of things, but all I get is silent notes once I push E-0, which is labeled as "Legato Slide" in the manual. All the other keyswitches seem to work find though.

I'm guessing that I'm using it wrong, so any help or explanation would be greatly appreciated! (I've searched the manual but there's no description of how to use it that I can find)

On this keyswitch notes only sound from A#3 upwards. I'm assuming this is Gold and not XP Pro. Is this what happens for you?

That did the trick... I hadn't tried out A#3 or above, so now I'm hearing them just fine.

If you don't mind my asking, what context/situation would this articulation be used for?

You're right, I'm using just the regular Gold edition, not the Pro XP one. Sorry, I should have mentioned that!
