Popping, Clicking

I loaded 2 separate instances of kompakt with choirs as vst in Sonar 5. I had each correctly linked to its own wordbuilder. I loaded kompakt instance #1 with Multi sopranos (F SOPR WB DYN MOD N) and linked it to "soprano" wordbuilder. My second instance of kompakt loaded with the Alto Multi (F ALTO WB DYN MOD N) and linked to "Alto" wordbuilder.

I inputed each wordbuilder with a simple three word phrase When I play just one note for soprano and one note for alto it sounds clean and crisp. The minute I play 2 notes of sopranos and 2 notes of altos I hear popping and clicking.

Any idea what is causing this? I wasn't playing loud and my volume meters were not clipping. I think it is the alto and soprano samples interfering with each other?

Okay, Can it be because each Wordbuiler is transmitting on the same midi channels (1-5)?

Hmmm. I'll see if I can change the second Wordbuilder midi output to 5-10 and see what happens

I can't figure this out. I can't sync 2 instances of kompakt and 2 multi choirs with word builder. Please Help!

I changed the second wordbuilder to output on different midi channels and now its even worse. Now the altos are spread out all over the place. And the sopranos are upside down..and nothing works!



FYI, 3.0 ghz, 2 gigs dual channel ram, 3 internal hard drives, EMU 1280M, etc DFD is updated and enabled.
