I was curious as to how a system running something like a Duron 800mhz, but loaded with 1.5 gigs of ram would deal with the Symphonic Choirs package? I happen to have such a system lying about unused, and wouldn't mind being able to 'reactivate' it for the purpose of giving SC its own system (without having to buy yet another one...).

Thanks

From the website:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Win XP, Pentium III/Athlon 1 GHz, 1 GB RAM, DVD drive
Mac OS X 10.2.6, G4 800 MHz, 1 GB, DVD drive

RECOMMENDED SYSTEM
Win XP, Pentium IV/Athlon 3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, DVD drive
Mac OS X 10.3 or higher, G5 1.8 GHz, 2 GB RAM, DVD drive

Sounds like your system would work. However please consider that like QLSO Platinum, EWQLS Choirs a 24-bit sample library that similarly includes three simultaneous stereo mic setups (close, stage and hall) - therefore a 10,000 RPM SATA Raptor hard drive may also factor in as a consideration for best performance of your rig.

Did you notice how just one little typo in the title makes this thread look cool and hip?
