Needing advice with home video editing software. I want to put together some clips for promo DVD / SVCD's, & I'm finding that no one mentions dual core CPU support / upgrades in their product info. At the mo, I'm sending one side of Athlon 64 x2 / +3800 clean over the top ( causing huge audio latency / Nero Express 5.5 / AVI > VCD burn) Edited clips in Windows Movie Maker, but want SVCD & DVD burn, 5.1 surround etc.
If I buy eg: Nero 7 Premium, will it use 2x CPU ? Nero wont answer 2 - 3 emails sent last week, & support phone lines dont answer from Australia, only from country of origin. (no Oz support). I would like to put my East West libraries to good use.
Any ideas ?
